Hearing that a kit had sneaked out with the patrol only served to make Wolftail feel anxiety and worry. Hearing that the same patrol had only added dread to his emotions, making his stomach feel like it had a bottomless pit inside of it. Finding the small kitten’s body surrounded by Butterpaw and Darkpaw, dragged away from the massacre of limbs with a single hole piercing through his chest, made the giant tom sick to his stomach.
